The thesis is that the wealthy have "luxury ideas", ideas that they can hold because they're insulated from the consequences of these ideas. I think the penultimate is gun control. They have private security, live in gated communities, so they never have to worry about defending themselves. Unfortunately, "luxury ideas" are often copied by the lower classes, where there are consequences. Can you think of any other "luxury ideas"?
