This is a parallel I've drawn on several podcasts and will continue to draw. In 2010 a young Tunisian man was denied the ability to operate his fruit cart by local authorities. He set himself on fire in protest. This event kicked off the "Tunisian revolution". This man burning himself alive was the final straw and anger towards local law enforcement and government corruption turned into violent revolt. This revolt spilled over into neighboring nations and became the Arab Spring. In the United States and in most of the western world, similar circumstances have been created. People have not been allowed to work or entertain themselves. Trust in law enforcement and government has been eroded. I hope that I won't be warning about another mass shooting or more civil unrest this week, but it's much more likely than not. A dangerous situation has been created.
