I monitor a lot of left-wing chats. I monitor a lot of right-wing chats as well. I use Telegram and Signal to do this, for the most part. When I see the same information floating around, I can see where the movement is going. Some of these are just "Patriot" groups, but some are actually Neo-Nazi and Neo-Fascist groups. They self-identity that way. Since I live about 20 minutes from Minneapolis, I watched those riots with great interest. When Minneapolis' 3rd precinct fell, I saw an emboldened militant left. I truly believe that for the right, getting into the Capitol was their 3rd precinct. I'll share some tweets that have been circulating that speak to that. The mayor of Minneapolis decided to "give up" the 3rd precinct. There was no real resistance. Was there any real resistance at the Capitol? Please feel free to let me know why you agree or disagree. Time will unlimitedly prove me right or wrong.
