Armenian mortar shells hit Iranian town on border with Azerbaijan
The Iranian town “Khoda Afreen” (خدا آفرين) in the Iranian province of Western Azerbaijan on the border with Azerbaijan, has been hit by 4 mortar shells from Armenia.
Six houses were damaged and one child was reportedly injured.
Armenian sources claim that Azerbaijan purposefully positions its forces close to the Iranian border, in hopes that Armenian artillery would spill over into Iran, with the aim of deliberately raising tensions between Iran and Armenia.
